Dear Members, Dear EFQM Friends,
In this newsletter I would like to share with you several initiatives aiming to offer EFQM Member Organisations more added value. It starts with a review of the current benefits each Member receives when they join EFQM as well as at renewal, supporting you at each step of your journey towards Excellence. I encourage you to visit the Member section of our website to find out more about these benefits or just to call your account manager to explain your needs and to plan your next step together with EFQM.
For our Italian Members, we have established a new EFQM Italia Representative Office in Rome. Therefore we have signed a strategic partnership with prof. Gino Bella, leader of the SCIRE Consortium. This new partnership, under the leadership of prof. Vittorio Cesarotti, will allow EFQM to bring more support to local organisations as well as new products and services tailored for the needs of the Italian market. You can read more about SCIRE on page 7 of this newsletter. EFQM Italia has run additionally a Good Practice Workshop with Bosch Bari on the theme Industry 4.0 introducing a new interactive format for this type of events: developing actively knowledge through team work between participants, bringing value to the host organisation and attendees. This first success encourages us to organise more of these events. We share with you the details of this new Good Practice format on page 6.
Also, I am glad to announce that the EFQM Ambassador Team has recently been extended by 3 new Members, all from Spain: Rafael Abajo, Julio Gonzalez Bedia and Jose Antonio Calvo Maguregi. I am sure that you are familiar with these names as these EFQM Ambassadors have been active in our EFQM Community for several years. In this newsletter, we introduce you to Jose Calvo and in the next newsletter to Rafael and Julio. I would also like to inform you that we plan to further extend the EFQM Ambassador network to bbe able to provide direct support to all our European member organisations, to better understand and anticipate their needs.
I would like to encourage you to join our upcoming new events and courses, all of them are opportunities to develop new competences and support the growth and competitiveness of your organisation. This includes the new workshop we have developed on Agility and Innovation Management taking place on September 8th, but also the existing EFQM Assessor Development Path and the Organisation Development Path that we will soon launch.
Another opportunity to learn and connect is the EFQM Forum 2017, organised this year in collaboration with Club Excelencia on the theme "Excellence through Agility". It is our main event of the year and it will take place in Madrid on October 26th and 27th. I would like to remind you that the Early Bird fee, the special launch price, will end on June 30th, so make sure to register before that date. I look forward to meet you at this unique event that we tailored to equip you with actionable knowledge to make you and your organisation more agile.
Enjoy the reading,
