The EFQM Award Ceremony was held for the first time in 1992 when 350 delegates witnessed King Juan Carlos of Spain hand over the very first EFQM Award trophy to Rank Xerox. This year, the EFQM Forum and Award Ceremony will take place in Madrid (Spain) to celebrate this important milestone and commemorate the first edition of the Award.
The EFQM Forum is a once-a-year event in which over 400 business leaders congregate to learn, interact, network and this year, to discuss and learn about AGILITY in organisations as a way to achieve excellence. It provides unique networking opportunities and is infused with the atmosphere of connecting and sharing that characterises EFQM events, this year more than ever. Indeed, you can expect a blend of content composed of CEOs from top European organisations, entrepreneurs, thinkers, managers, artists and sports people as well as interactive sessions and adjacent events all on agility. There will also be some gamification experiences throughout the Forum.
During 2-days at the Reina Sofia Museum, we invite you to explore with our keynote speakers’ issues most relevant to today’s business leaders and stimulate new thinking on the theme: Excellence through Agility…But if you are looking for benchmarking and sharing opportunities, the 2017 edition of the EFQM Forum is the place to be with 4 Good Practice Visits hosted by: Enagas, Moncloa Hospital, 3M and the EFQM Global Excellence Award winner of 2016, Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas.
You’ll leave the EFQM Forum with knowledge inspiring actions to further support your organisation and develop your career. On the evening of the 26th October, join the Award Celebration Dinner and network with the EFQM Global Excellence Award Nominees and peers, share insights, and make new connections — all in one exquisite, unforgettable setting.
