Pierre Cachet
Chief Executive Officer
Pierre Cachet joined EFQM from one of EFQM's key members, EDF. He has extensive managerial and business experience in strategy development, operations and HR. Most recently, Pierre was the Deputy Head of Strategy and Management of ERDF (Electricité Réseau Distribution France) which was formerly the EDF (Electricité de France) distribution network division.
Pierre has held various roles within the EDF organisation. He began his career as an engineer building power plants. Among his many projects included the implementation of the first Chinese nuclear power plant and of the first French solar power plant in the early eighties. Later, within EDF and the Gaz de France Distribution Branch, he managed staffs from 100 to 10,000 workers and executives in networks and customer fields. In 2002, he acted as advisor to the Senior Executive Vice-President, EDF Distribution and Local Authorities, and helped to reorganise the distribution branch in France.
Hervé Legenvre
Director of Major Accounts and Knowledge Development
Hervé Legenvre joined EFQM in 2000 and leads the development of EFQM’s new offerings and activities. In addition, he maintains and nurtures the relationships with EFQM’s Major Accounts and acts as line manager for the Recognition team.
Recently, Hervé has been extensively involved with the development of EFQM's new leadership development programmes such as Pegasus. He is also working together with EFQM members on strategy based assessment and global assessment.
Geert Opdenbosch
Chief Financial Officer
Geert Opdenbosch joined EFQM in 1999 to assume the function of chief financial and administration officer. His challenge is to ensure an efficient management of the corporate administration within the framework of applicable professional standards, laws, regulations and internal policies.
Geert's background includes an extended period in external audit with one of the big four accounting houses. Passionate about finance, Geert is also a faculty member at a Brussels based college of higher education.
