The EFQM Board of Directors provides the overall strategic direction for EFQM to achieve its mission.

The Board consists of the CEOs or most senior executives of several EFQM member organisations.  Each Board Member is elected for a two years period.  The Board elects from among its members the EFQM Chairman.

Three permanent committees shall assist the Board:

• A Nomination and Human Resources Committee
• A Finance and Audit Committee
• A Strategic Committee
