The Communities of Practice (CoP) give EFQM members the opportunity to share their experience with others on a specific topic and use this learning to generate new innovative ideas that may benefit the wider community.

COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE 2017-2018

In June 2018, the CoP team members had a closing meeting hosted by GC Europe in Leuven, Belgium. The team put together the outcomes and experiences of working on inspiring topics with enthusiastic people. Refer to the topics, participants and outcomes of the CoPs’ below:

COP1: THE FUTURE OF THE EFQM EXCELLENCE MODEL

Purpose: To contribute towards making the Model fit-for-future, by evaluating by evaluating the relevance of Fundamental Concepts, taking into consideration the global megatrends which are reshaping the world.

Purpose: To analyse EFQM Award winning organisations to identify examples of great organizational culture and distinguish between great culture and future-proof culture. Some of the questions analyzed were:

  • What is the effect of applying the EFQM Model to an organizational culture?
  • How to get from a good to an excellent culture?

Purpose: To investigate what are the essential leadership qualities and behaviors that great leaders have in common. The outcome of this CoP intends to help leaders identify and nurture their personal and professional skills to “Lead with Vision, Inspiration and Integrity”.
